Each completed daily puzzle gives you four letter fragments for its own week. Use your collected letters and the weekly clue to build a 28-letter phrase.

Collect letters by solving daily puzzles

A day awards its four configured fragments only when the entire daily puzzle is solved. Replaying the same date does not award another set. Hints and extra rolls do not reduce your reward.

The reward is independent of cube faces, answer letters, and the route you take. Solving a historical day awards letters to its original week, not the current week.

Build the phrase, one word at a time

1. Read the weekly clue and the word lengths shown by the spaces.
2. Select an available letter in the Fragment Pool, then select a space. On desktop, you can also drag a letter into a space.
3. Use the color feedback to try a different position. Each word has its own row.

Rearrange without losing your matches

With no pool letter selected, tap an unlocked letter to return it to the pool. Tap a selected pool letter again to deselect it. “Clear loose letters” returns unlocked letters; green letters remain locked.

You can start as soon as you have fragments. Question-mark tiles are letters you have not earned yet—not extra tiles you can use. Complete the week’s daily puzzles to collect all 28 letters, then place them correctly. The final correct letter completes the puzzle automatically and opens your collection card; no extra submission is needed.

Your time and hints

Weekly time starts with your first arranging action or revealed hint. It pauses when the page is hidden, its window loses focus, or weekly Help is open, and stops on completion. The word-hint count is 0 or 1: reopening it does not add another use. Clear loose letters keeps your time and hint history. Older results with unrecorded statistics show —, not zero.

Dates and saved progress

Daily puzzles open at midnight in Pacific Time, including daylight saving time. A week runs Monday through Sunday. Available historical dates stay in the archive.

Progress and collected fragments save automatically in this browser when storage is available. There is no account backup or cross-device sync. Clearing site data removes local progress. If a saving warning appears, keep the page open without reloading or closing it. Use Retry saving after browser storage becomes available again, including from the completed weekly result. If saving still fails, keep the page open; the warning means the save has not succeeded. This retry control is for weekly puzzles. Daily puzzles have no manual save button; follow the daily saving warning.

Keep the surprise when sharing

The weekly result card shows progress without printing the answer phrase, answer letters, or their order. Use the game’s share action if you want to compare progress without giving away the solution.
