Playing ClueRoll
You may use the site for personal puzzle play and share links and game-generated result cards. The current game is free to play and does not require a player account. Read the daily guide and weekly rules for how play, hints, completion, and fragments work. Collection cards and fragments are game achievements, not money, prizes, or items with a cash value.
Saved progress and availability
Progress is saved in your browser when storage is available, not backed up in a ClueRoll account. Clearing site data, switching browsers or devices, or browser restrictions can remove or separate saves. We cannot guarantee recovery of deleted local progress.
We aim to keep puzzles usable, but errors, interruptions, and corrections can happen. Site features and puzzle availability may change. Contact us if you find an incorrect clue or technical problem; no uninterrupted availability or error-free operation is promised.
Respect the game and other players
Do not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass access restrictions, send malicious code, or use the contact channel to harass others. Keep shared results spoiler-conscious. Please do not misrepresent your own site or account as the official ClueRoll service.
Content and sharing
Rights in the site’s original puzzles, artwork, branding, and code remain with their respective rights holders. Permission to play or share a result does not grant permission to republish the puzzle library, reuse the ClueRoll branding as your own, or resell site content. This does not limit rights provided by applicable law or any separate open-source licence. For reuse requests or copyright concerns, contact us with the relevant links.
Privacy and external services
The Privacy Policy explains local storage, hosting, and email enquiries. External websites and services you choose to open have their own terms and privacy practices.
Legal rights and updates
The game is provided on an as-available basis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms may be updated as the service changes; the current version and update date are shown on this page.
